In most cases the Engine Rebuilder has no control over the installation procedure used on his products. The new head or engine may be running with the same leaky radiator that caused the problem in the first place. SBI recommends the use of heat tabs which give some indication as to engine operating temperatures. Heat Tabs will not indicate individual cylinder conditions, only the coolant temperature in the engine.
